Naomi Henn is the Founder and CEO of CrowdClip, a highly successful startup that leverages Artificial Intelligence to bring video editing to the masses. To understand Naomi’s future, we must first look at her origin story. While growing up, her goal was to follow in her father’s footsteps as an Olympian. After every Athletics meet, Naomi would spend hours upon hours with her Dad analysing video footage from the event to identify the moments most important to her. At the time, there was no clear solution to identify those unique moments that really mattered from each event and package them up ready to share on social or with friends & family. After finding that she was one of many facing these same issues. From student athlete to budding entrepreneur, Naomi began her professional career making tech for sports stadiums backed by a renowned investor after leaving PwC. From there she left for San Francisco to gain more industry insights, winning short course scholarships at UCLA and Stanford at the post graduate schools to add to her BCom degree achieved from Curtin University in Perth. She quickly added value to renowned restaurant booking app, Yumtable, which was the 2nd biggest booking engine in Australia and the 5th on the App Store. Its success had much to do with the unique way that Naomi approaches product and growth strategies. More recently, Naomi divested herself of any active investments leading her to establish her own media content and distribution platform, CrowdClip. What makes CrowdClip so special and has the likes of one of the Co-Founding executives of Netflix raving about it, is its ability to create personalised shareable content with minimal effort. The AI does the hard work by not only finding content that matches the players or attendees, via facial recognition, but also by understanding which clips will look good. It’s this side of the AI that is truly intelligent, taking into consideration camera angles, lighting and even emotions through facial expressions.Naturally, with Naomi’s extensive history in the sports, tech & entertainment industry, CrowdClip has flourished. She has been featured in the West Australian, West Business "Big Deal", Startup Daily, Smart Company to name a few. She has leveraged her many accolades including;National Champion, International Junior Champion, Sponsored Athlete, WiTWA Tech [+] 2020 Winner, Young Australian of the Year Finals List 2014, NAB Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Nominee 2014, delegate for the World Economic Forum as well as her experience with Australian Sports Tech Network (ASTN) on the Board of Directors, and the Women in Tech (WITWA) Board of Directors, to propel the company to where it is now, operating with some huge players like Zoom and Formula 1®.Naomi is a passionate, forward thinker and has her finger on the pulse of many emerging technologies, most notably in the Web 3.0 space, where she’s invested in and/or advised on many successful technology, crypto and impact companies, most notably Katla Ocean Regeneration and Dapper Labs. She is an action-driven risk-taker that aspires to become an authentic role model for the people around her. She is driving CrowdClip towards becoming a household name that empowers the world to create videos with joy.
